Pumpkin Patch Trip

Halloween is in one week and my family went to get our pumpkins today.  The fall colors are so gorgeous and it was so great to get out into the country.

My brother Peter is 14 and he turned into such a photographer tonight!  He took my dad's Nikon and went off snapping pictures the whole time.
I found these red cowboy boots in my mom's closet today.  I think I laughed when she bought them in Alaska but now I'm in love with them!

This was the sweetest cat who jumped into our car before we left and then cuddled up in my lap.  It was so hard to put her back outside and leave because my dad is supposedly allergic to cats.  Ah she was adorable!

Right Here, Right Now

An official Hello to the Blogging world!  The name's Maraika (yeah I'll repeat it, Muh-ry-kuh).  I call California, Oregon, Alaska, Provo, and Michigan home.  I'm 20 years young and pretty adventurous.  I'm in Michigan this fall and loving the season in it's entirety.  I enjoy having an opinion on everything and I hope it isn't offensive, I don't mean it to be.

I've been pressured to blog for some time now, but I wasn't sure if I wanted another website to check and update, and another way to have 6 conversations with the same person on different websites.  Because I work in a restaurant open until 2AM, I'm slightly nocturnal.  So on a normal Sunday night like this when I try to go to bed at 10 and give up after 4 hours, I decided to kill time by starting a blog.  Everything else on my to-do list was worth procrastinating more.

Today was gorgeous!  An amazing Fall Sunday.  I wore my new H&M dress and it was my first time back to church in Michigan since coming home last week.  It was so fun to see everyone and it's such a confidence boost when people are really excited to see you.

I'm excited to start blogging and putting my thoughts out farther than the lithosphere.  Lucky for you, you'll get to see the intricacies of my brain and listen to me talk.

Let's play The M Game!
