21st BIRTHDAY!

The night before my 21st, Kaitlyn and I went to Nickolitalia's Pizza in Provo.  It's so good!  Very genuine place, pizza straight from Bah-ston. Then we got delish pie shakes from Sammy's.  Apple Pie every time, it's amazing.

 Good Morning!  I'm 21!!!

Kelsey took me to Jamba Juice.  She bought me my first drink when I turned 21!

 Kaitlyn and I went to J-Dawgs for lunch.  3 minute walk for the best hot dogs you'll ever eat!

 For my birthday I wanted to go to the Aquarium   so Kaitlyn and I drove up to Sandy to see some marine life.  It was nothing like Sea World but it was still wonderful!

 I touched sting rays!  I've done it a few times in aquariums and at the beach but it's still so much fun.  My dream job is to train dolphins at Sea World, and has been since I was 4. 

 By the time everyone was ready for dinner, it was about 10 so the only place open in Provo was Chili's!  So we went and it was much better than I remember.

 I tied my hair back.  Ribs are serious business.

 I walked into my apartment after dinner and turned on the light to a big "SURPRISE!" My roommates are incredible for setting up a surprise party!  It was so fun.  I was hoisted in a chair, and Katie made a delish cake!  And yes, I blew out all the candles in one breath!

Festival of Colors

The Festival of Colors!  The highlight of winter semester at BYU. 

So many people go, throw colored powder, and chant Hare Krishna.

 

We went with Kaitlyn, Kevin, Erik, Jake, Kris, Devin, and met up with lots of other people we knew at the Festival

 I wore a bandana so I didn't breathe in all the powder, but it made the bottom of my face look a bit weird

 Before the festival, we went to the BYU football scrimmage.  This fall is going to be insane.

I CROWDSURFED!  I can check that off my bucket list.  It was awesome!  So much fun.  There was a concert at the same time so I got doused in color, crowdsurfed, and it was gorgeous weather so the day was pretty much perfect. 

General Conference

General Conference has sessions Saturday morning, afternoon, then a sesh at night for men.  During that session, the Murray-ish relatives went out to Red Robin.  Did they give us enough fry sauce?  Oh, Utah. 

On Sunday afternoon, my roommates and I went up to Salt Lake City to see the conference live.  It was so amazing to be in the same room as the prophet and his apostles.  I know that they are men of God and that the speak the words our Heavenly Father wants us to hear.
